MADE BY WOOD

Messto is a company formed by a married couple Anna and Michael. Our love and passion for wood was born during our several-year stay in Norway. There we were fascinated by the simplicity, aesthetics, and design. After returning to the country, we wanted to create original and unique things from wood ourselves. By the method of small steps, various carpentry trainings and a lot of work, we managed to build a small workshop and create such accessories as boards, trays, vases, clocks, bowl sets, candles in wood, Our passion for wood and our creativity allows us to create unique designs that bring a unique atmosphere to your home. The products we offer are made of various woods such as Oak, Ash, Maple and more.

WORK PROCESS

STEP 1: Material preparation
There are no shortcuts in handicrafts and just as I invest in high-quality materials, I also invest my time in ensuring that my handmade products are of the highest quality. This first stage translates into each subsequent stage, so it is extremely important that the material is properly prepared.

STEP 2: We create!
It would seem that pouring material into a mould is a fairly simple and trivial matter. Well, yes, it is but only superficially. The final appearance of the product is influenced by everything: from the speed of pouring the material, how much of it is poured at one time and to taking care that there are as few air bubbles as possible. The experience of pouring hundreds of kilograms of material allowed me to develop an appropriate method, thanks to which the final appearance of the product will satisfy even the most demanding tastes.

STEP 3: Attention to detail
It is impossible to pour material into a mould and extract an absolutely perfect product from it. The end result is not reached yet. Now it's time to give the product its final appearance, i.e. to smooth out any unevenness. All this makes the product more visually appealing to the eye of the new owner.

STEP 4: Security
In addition to the fact that the product is covered with a special layer, which is designed to protect it against splashes and contamination by touching or dust, a thin layer of cork is also glued to the bottom, which prevents accidental scratching of the surfaces on which it is placed.
